West Park Early Childhood PTA Service Committee
We're a non-profit organization, and we like to give back to our community. The service committee collects donations at each of the parties, sponsors trips to nursing homes, collects Heinz baby food labels to raise money for hospitals, and sponsors the annual Teddy Bear Pajama Party.
Heinz Baby Food labels will be collected at each monthly meeting.
For the Fall Party, please bring gently used children's clothing for donation to the Cleveland Christian Children's Home, or new children's clothing for donation to Providence House.
Groups to whom we have donated:
Providence House A crisis nursery providing a safe haven for infants and toddlers who are abused, neglected or abandoned.
Templum House battered women's shelter.
Cleveland Crossroads for Youth cares for children.
Fairview Hospital
Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital burn unit.
Recent Collections
Christmas decorations were handed out at the ManorCare and RaeAnn's nursing homes.
Toys collected at the Halloween Party were donated to Bellflower.
Stickers collected at the Halloween Party were placed in the extra goody bags, together with spider rings, pumpkin necklaces, crayons, and tiny coloring books. They were given to the Pediatrics ward at Fairview Hospital the week before Halloween where they were much appreciated by the nursing staff, and enjoyed by the sick children.
